GLOBAL WARMING

Going by technical definition, global warming can be defined as rise in average temperature of earths near surface air. Scientists have found that the average atmospheric temperature of earth rose by about 0.74 0c in the 20th century while this rise will be in the magnitude of 1.10 to 6.4 oc during the 21st century.

The post industrial revolution era marked a distinct change in human behavior. The developing altitude of consumerism led to fast depletion of natural resources. Heavy and indiscipline use of fossil fuel a lot of carbon was pumped into atmosphere. High emissions of gases not only absorb a lot of heat from sunlight, but, also resist the heat radiation back from earth.

Kyoto Protocol and carbon credits are mere words that serve no purpose. If we are not serious, rising sea levels, abnormal climate and high temperature will finish it all.
